1927 luftpost scadta DR-COLOMBIA

    Hello all,

    My question would be probably best posted in the more specific "Luftpost" section, but since I do not speak German, is posted here:

    I attach a 1927 cover from Germany to Colombia franked at 70pfg plus 1 peso 20 centavos SCADTA stamps for Germany. The cover is obviously 4th weight rate (25+15+15+15pf). Can anyone confirm that the Colombian SCADTA airmail rate was 30 centavos per 20gr?

    I used to collect SCADTA (still do it but the provisional registration stamps of the 1921 issue only) and can confirm that the rate was 30 cvs per 20 grams.
    He other rate where:
    Postcard, printed matters, commercial papers, samples without value, merchandise for samples etc.. 15 cvs.
    Registration charges 20 cvs
    Parcels (maximum weight 10 kilo grams, minimum ½ kilogram, For each 500 grams or fraction of 500 grams 1,50 Pesos.

    I recommend you the book (/Los Primeros cincuenta Anos de Correo Aereo en Colombia” by Gebauer/Londono. Although already issued in 1975, it is still the reference book for SCADTA.
