Hello,
I tried to enter the new chat room out of curiosity.
I does not work - I did not expect it do do so either, as I have the wrong version of J*etc.
(Running on Fedora, where it does not work properly anyhow)
Now to the point: the message says "Zur Zeit ist/sind diese Mitglied(er) im Chat unterwegs.
TomWolf_de, Pixie"
Wrong! I am not! I am not in the chat!

How to get off the list:
Try again to join the chat. This time, for leaving, do not just close the window or tab, instead click on "Beenden", this will get you off the list.
-
Nee-e
There is no "Beenden" to klick on
I have logged out and logged in and logged out again
but somehow parts or traces of me seem still to be there
-
There is no "Beenden" button ... at the bottom of the page??
-
Hi Pixie,
Obviously, the Chat is still being worked on - not quite up to snuff as yet. I'm sure the announcement will be made when it is fully functional.
Cheers

Thank you!Deep down under the huge grey void ...

Hi Rondo,
Thank you
as I dare not try and speak german here my curiosity is purely academical.
I do have problems with my J-youknowwhat and I am curios to try it in various situations.Best regards

Last night I used /quit the same command used in the "previous chat" that we enjoyed so much. It worked just fine to close the connection and exit.

Rondothe old chat is still active?
-
No, it is not. Just that the quit command was recognized in the new chat last night, that it worked for me. Give it a try next time you are in there.
-
when trying to access the chat I only see a big and totally grey area, nothing more (but somehow the server recognizes a connection though). So there is no chance for me to use the "/quit" command.
I'm pretty sure that Pixie had exactly the same problem, judging from her explanations.

Re the new chat,
It works fine for me but does take a bit of getting used to.
I liked the old chat better. Then again so long as I can talk stamps I am happy

(psst Alec, its me, Pia)
I was thinking of you when I tried the new chatroom - but then again we have other means
best
