this time a little off topic ... and not 
Some time ago when I was curious about Hamburg and its postal history, I found this page
It does not say very much really, but the place looks nice and it would be great to visit one day.
This is my personal favourite hang out - I don't have that much time to spend there, but every minute is a real pleasure.
It would be nice to hear other members tell about their favourite museums and libraries!

The Postmuseum in Stockholm is great! I visited it last year. The Postmuseum in Kopenhagen is also great!
The local museum in Dorchester, whilst dealing largely with the local area, its history and development, has a section devoted to the carriage of mail in the county of Dorset, including an old mail coach, and several other items of interest. I visited there some 10 years ago, and it was a pleasant surprise.
By the way the town of Dorchester is well worth a visit for anyone coming to England.

I can highly recommend the National Postal Museum is Washington DC.
I was there in 2006 and although the displays are forever changing well worth a visit.

Well Dorset and Dorchester - could it be more english in England?
I have never been there, but enjoy looking at the pictures and think it must be wonderful in the summer (as it is everywhere )
