Great Britain Air Displays FDC

This is my first real posted FDC from Great Britain. But it's very interesting. The Royal Mail cancelled this FDC but didn't send it directly to me, they put it into another bigger envelope, and then sent this bigger envelope to me by registered mail before issue day.

Turkey Precedent For Humanity FDC

This is a good issue for Jews. Many people saved and helped Jews during WWII. My city, Shanghai, also saved about 20,000 Jewish refugees' lives during WWII. They are called "Shanghai Ghetto". BTW, it seems that Turkish Post had changed their registered label.

Russia The 150th birth anniversary of Ilya Ostroukhov PCBCS

The illustration of this PCBCS is his most famous painting "Siverko (The North Wind)", it depicts a majestic river view dominated by the effects of the cold northern wind.

Sri Lanka Beijing 2008 Olympic Games FDC

My Sri Lanka friend told me that this set was issued after a ceremony in the evening on issue day. In this case, nobody could send this FDC on issue day, so you will see the local postmark on the back side is 24.07.2008.

Canada Beijing 2008 Olympic Games FDC

This is my first real posted FDC from Canada. It's very hard to make registered real posted FDC from Canada, because their registered postage is quite expensive. The local postmark on this FDC is a two-colour pictorial postmark, it's very special.

Estonia The 290th Anniversary of Tallinn's Kadriorg Park Postal Stationery

This Postcard was sent from Kadrioru Post Office (in Estonian grammar, if it has any word behind "Kadriorg", the "Kadriorg" should be changed to "Kadrioru"), the nearest post office from the Kadriorg Park, which was closed last year. For this jubilee, Eesti Post temporary reopened this post office in only few days. I'm so lucky that my Esotnian friend sent this postcard from this "temporary post office", and I got a "temporary postmark" at the same time.

This Congress was hold in Centre International de Conférences Genève (abbr. CICG; Add. 17 rue de Varembé), and this FDC was sent from post office (Post office 1200 Genève 20 CIC; Add. 15 rue de Varembé) which is located in CICG.

Lithuania Beijing 2008 Olympic Games FDC

Today, 08.08.08. Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing at 08.08 PM. This FDC, Olympic Games FDC, is the best choice to be updated today. Canada Lifesaving Society FDC

I was stunned when I received this FDC, somebody had opened it during the way. Suddenly, I remembered my friend's notice: Canada Custom often opens the letter from China or to China. I don't know their purpose, but it's really bad.

Taiwan's Aboriginal Culture FDC

Taiwan Post had released the design before issue day, but the Rukai Men's Headdress's design was totally wrong, it depicted a Rukai Women's Headdress. In this case, Taiwan Post were withdrawn all of complete set pre-cancelled official FDC and this mistaken stamp before issue day. Lucky! their efficiency is good, they redesigned and reprinted the mistaken stamp in time.
