Dear xiaolin,
yes, these receipts do fit into your topical collection of horses!
They have been issued by the old German state Prussia = Preußen and they covered rides of passengers in coaches of the Prussian post in the area of Silesia.
The first ride was from Cosel to Oberglogau.
Best Regards

mx5schmidtFirst of all, thank you for your reply.
But I still have 2 questions;
Receipts these, they are the receipts of the Prussia post office?
In receipts above, printed text B) D) E) F) A), and other printing text, what do they mean?
For example, in 1839 receipt, 2 horses, what does that mean?This is an exhibition page, is a Danish, he did not explain clearly Quittung

It says:
A) for 2 horses, 10 Sgr. every horse and mile ..... 10 Reichsthaler 15 Sgr (Silvergroschen)
B) Order fee
C) Greasemoney, in case on the way it was greased
D) Station wagon (do not know what this was in former time)
E) Road charge (it is different word for roads chausee, causeway, bridge)
F) Ferriage -
Btw. Schmiergeld is nowadays a common word for Bestechung in engl. Bribery. It derrives from this times, where you had to pay Grease money / Schmiergeld for the carriage.
