    the stamp side of this postal stationery (Michel-Nr. P 188) shows the Rhine bridge in Mannheim with castle, the German soldiers on the picture side could cross the Rhine bridge in Mainz on 7th March, 1936:

    Mannheim is not in the Rheinland, but several 100 km south of it.
