    1.From what period can i start?
    2.Can you recommend good websites about german philately?

    3.Things to tell me about my beginning on german stamps.

    Welcome to German philately!

    1) You can start with every period that you want. It is only a question of your personal preferences and to some extent your budget for stamps. Germany has due to its history a lot of different periods and areas that can be easily separated from the others.

    2) I don't know that many websites about German philately in English, however what I can always recommend to you is membership in one of the societies devoted to German philately. These are e.g. the GPS in the US and the Germany and Colonies Philatelic Society in the UK:


    3) There are a lot of things that we could tell you, but you should ask some more precise questions, otherwise it is too much.
