  • Late use of x4 rule???

    • zeus25971
    • 26. November 2014 um 17:31

As usual the argentinian afgain Asking for strange rates . Recentrly I bought on ebay the piece attanched and the only explanation that comes to my mind is a late use of the 4 times rule.

13 x 2 Mld = 26 Mld x 4 104 Mld = 104 pfg. Long distance covers up to 20 gr are 100 pfg since 1-12. Maybe the employee does not know the rule wasn't valid anymore?

Any other explanation of this rate are welcome.

On the other hand I know I saw the back cancelleation but I can't remember where. does any one saw it??

    Thanks and best regards
    Luis

P.S. The violet stempel seems to be the path the railway should make because of french occupation of offenburg?

Digging on Philaseiten I just discovered that it was a "Late delivery" rate. (in the next PP that rate was 10 Mld ). Since this letter was delivered on sunday, the next PP the rates was increased x10 and the unknown rate was 1 Mld. I wondered if its possible that a "late delivery" was applied for sending on sunday.

Anyway if someone has information about this extra rate and would like to share I would really appreciate it.

Hi guys, once again I would need your help with a coupple of rates. First of all a Rohrpost cover:

    [Blockierte Grafik: http://www.luisrecagno.com/filatelia/rohr.jpeg]

As far as I know, Berlin Rate are 700 Tsd for covers up to 700 Tsd, inland, and 850 for covers ausland.... No rate for 100 gr covers (Only in munchen). Then why this one has an 800 Tsd rate??

    And other one:

    [Blockierte Grafik: http://www.luisrecagno.com/filatelia/infla099.jpg]

The rate for international postkartes are 120 TSD, I can't understand then why this one are charged with 135 Tsd.

Finally, one of my last aquisistions:

    [Blockierte Grafik: http://www.luisrecagno.com/filatelia/infla098.jpg]

I am almost sure is good. However want to know youir opinions

    That's all for now.

Hi to everyone. Anyone know the reason of the displacement of the surcharge on this 2 pieces. As you can see ...in the first one the surcharg e at bottom right are displaced and in the second one the one at bottom left are displaced. As far as I read the clises are 5x5 so it's not the "common one" located at position 5/6 - 45/46.... Any clues on why this displacement happens would be really appreciated.

    Best regards

Hi, this is my first response, so I will use 2 lines to introduce myself. My name is Luis Recagno and I live in Buenos Aires Argentina. I collect stamps from my country and from Germany ( DR, Bundes and Berlin ).... Since 2 years ago I decided to prepare a specialized collection about german Hoch inflation.

It's not very difficult to understand what you ask. The rate of changes of prices was so fast that the reichsdruckerei implements a new method to create stamps. They created and print a lot of base designs ( the rossette) in different colours, and they use them as needed printing different values.

The printing machines prints 4 sheets at the same time ( up left, up right, bottom left, bottom right), and each of this 4 sheets has a number, in sequence so for each "sheet", also known as druckform ( which means 4 diferent 100 sheets of stamps ) there are 4 different numbers. This numbers are sequential and they are related with the figure on the top (A,B,C ) and with the side advertising texts (1,2,3,4).

The druckforms has been made in 5 different series so you have druckforms from #1 to #44 for the 1st, 1 to 8 for the second,1 to 16 to 3rd serie 1 to 8 for the 4th and 1 to 8 for the 5th serie.

The second number is related with the value print. And as mentioned above the location for the number for drucklform is on the sides ( left or right ) and for the value, in the middle.

Hope this helps to you and sorry for the language but I don't speak or write german ( I use Gtranslate to read the book)

    Best regards
    Luis

Thanks so much for your response and the welcome.....If language is not a problem I will try to colaborate with postings in this forum with questions and some material I have.

Even there are no differences in price I considered interesting to have both of them distinguished and include them separately in my collection.

Hi to everyone. Finally I got my 2006 Michel specialized and I started to organize my chaos........

I started with this serie and my first question is....several values has been printed in 2 different printing machines ( Bogen ) and Rollen. However catalogue does not mention any difference so we can recognize them ( without having sheet borders). I took a look into my stcok and find out several differences between stamps, but not sure if they are differences between one and the other method.

If anyone have more information and colud tell me if this differences are because of different methods or they are simply different positions in a same plate.........

    Thanks in advance
    Luis

The font is really really different from the ones I saw. Also, did you tried to look at them at UV light? It should react orange.

Hi, they are all reproductions, originals has really tight separation between each stamp, so seeing this stamps with wide margins are the first clue that they are not original.

Hi to everyone, I am not sure if I can post here in english, if don't I would ask moderators to move it where it considers.
Since this is my first post, Let me introduce myself first. My name is Luis, I live in Buenos Aires Argentina, I'm 38 years old I came back to stamp collecting 2 years ago. I collect stamps from my country and Germany ( BRD,Berlin and Reich ).

A few months ago I found an opportunity in my country and I bought this serie at a really affordable price. REading this great forum, I come to this thread and I decide to verify the stamps I had. Hopefully seems I was lucky, only 2 values ( 8pf and 60 pf ) seems to be fake. With the higher values I have doubts. Both overprints reacts fine to the UV ( orange ) and as you can see in the attachs measures and angles seems to be ok. What makes me not be 100% sure is the shape of the fonts......

In the scans you will see, the original stamp, duplicated 4 times, the first one is the original, the second and third are with the image provided by someone here at the forum and the last one is with the complete overprint overimpossed, using a difference filter, you will find marked with white arrows the differences between both overprints ( in cyan ).

I would really appreciate your opinions on this ones,

    Thanks in advance
    Luis
