SERBIA: First quart of 2018 year come with few nice issues, under the topic of Judaica, fauna-Fish, Winter Olympic, Building Architecture, Theater ...
What to say, it is quiet in nice design, small quantity printed and affordable face value.
From all issues, I can just say that FAUNA-Fish issue, I think that it's much better in design, but CITY issue, even that's "medium" size format, is little bit "full" of detail. Good is that Carte Maximum was made just perfect, so JUDAICA come to the full light as there are Great Synagogue (famous building) shown.
So, if You collect this topics, go after it! -
GREAT, simple great design in this "Spring Flowers" edition.
Perfect color composition, very good design in mini sheet and set, booklet probably less attractive, but still very good. Than, continuing with "Train" issue on ATM label, here we have third in this year's set.
Yes, high face value, as postage cost go up every single year, so face value of postage stamps need to follow.

Interesting, how this "Young Country" very quickly felt to "grey area" of Philately, as they print, few issues, for two markets!
One was for "regular" market, and one printed quantity go for some foreign stamp dealer.
Issue that I know, have two quantity printed are this for "50 year of EUROPA" issues.
Only reason to do it, is just profit?

Hello everybody,
The topic is already a few years old, but there are no documents yet.
Recently pitched with me, is that something halfway special?
Sender (address on the back) from Lipjan.
...You know, there are lot of CTO (canceled to order) items around market, but hardly that someone in this Serbian Autonomy of Kosovo, use REAL mail to use. I have one or two, really used by post system, and situation there are very confusing, as there was UNMIK (UN) issues, after that come some "new independent name of Kosovo), but I have list of 30+ Post Offices in Kosovo, that use SERBIAN postage stamp.
-
...You see well, that it is CTO, and probably person just try cancel machine to check correct date on it....
-
...You must understand sellers, and shipping cost, which are today very-very high.
Registered mail from USA to Israel are minimum 20-25 Euro, so, probably inside Europe, asking price is not so big.
best regards

The latter has been in observation and at the moment this is over 50% Michel.
...it is no surprise that market have it at 50% catalog value, but few (as this Slovenia overprint), if in mnh condition, can reach even full + catalog value on market. We see, that market still keep good value on "gems" in any serious collection!
-
... just to clear some information and FACT:
Serbian Autonomy of Kosovo, is not a member of UPU Organization, as defined by UPU, only countries recognized bu UN can be members of UPU.
So, all issues after UN stopped to print postage stamps for Kosovo, are officially, not valid.
But, as we know, many countries, under the influence of western countries, accepted self proclamation of independence, and Kosovo start to issue own postage stamps, under the name "Republic of Kosovo" (2008 year).
Still, as fact Kosovo is divided between Albanians and Serbian people, so we have both stamps in use on Kosovo soil.
If You want to specialize in this territory, You will need very good source of information!
In this photo, you can see one cover that have Serbian stamps and cancel that come from Kosovo, than UN stamps on cover and one with Kosovo stamps.

These precursors under UN mandate are also available from Kosel in Vienna-now fragrances but new brands after the declaration of independence probably also appear with different inscription:
and these were the precursors in DM currency:
Finally, the illustration of an illegal issue, including the image of the Concorde-which served to pull the money out of ignorant collectors-there were even "First Day Covers" with Concorde motif stamps from this junk !:
... the one, you show, under name of KOSOVA, are NOT postage stamps, it is just some private issued LABELS and not valued more than paper itself!
Philatelist and collectors, so be very careful what you buy!

...and if You don't need this stamp, I will take it, as I have just used copy, and need one in mint condition.
Will be glad to hear from You.

Nice evening to all,
I need help again with my Eastern Europe blocks. Here I have a test print on cardboard paper - lt. Documents should concern it the block 18 P of 1978 to the congress of the SKJ -. The last known KW was DM 3,500.-. Can someone maybe give me the current value.
Thank you in advance.Kramix
....I don't know about which number You are talking when mentioning Michel number 18 P, as I have latest Michel catalog, but there are no option as 18 P.
As I know, this Block have two printing, and difference between first print and second are in color.
First print: dark blue color on face,
Second print: violet blue color of face.
There are also fine difference in frame print of block.
All are printed on bright (chalk) paper, so your sample on hard paper can be cut-off from commemorative cover.
best regards

Hello Lars, I know that already, I have the catalog
What made me startled is that I apparently from several 100 brands not a single StTDr. (ie 681) have. Either it is a coincidence or this mark is less than 0.30 M €. I would like to find out.But again to the 723:
Have just looked and still found this unserrated (postal stationery?) - And these obviously differently gezähnte. Does anyone know something about this perforation, is that a variation?...the one, not perforated, is cut from pre-printed cover or post card, so, it is not variation (cancel: Kranj 1), than You have next two samples, that come from two different issues, and You can see difference in catalog, as difference are in perforation and in printing technique, in Your samples, it is very visible.
In local catalog, for this set perforation, (Michel 677A/688A) is very clearly stated, that exist very bad perforation quality (named: blunt or dull, cloddish)...
Hope that this information help in determining what is asked.
best regards

First issues come, with one really nice surprise of ATM (Automatic Teller Machine):
Here we have two design, and I can call it ATM 2018 I and ATM 2018 II.
Full set of 6 values, and terribly expensive, as face value go up, and value of local currency are constantly stronger against major world currency, so effect of more expensive postage stamps of Israel are very visible.
Face value of 6 values in set come around 11.00 US$, but if You can make deal directly with local dealer, that will be much more expensive, very near 22.00 US$. Go to eBay, and You will find all kind of option, FDC, MC in price range of 18.00-19.00 US$ per set plus postage cost for delivery and PayPal extras, so You will come to this 22.00 US$ per set in any way.
So, if You still didn't include it in Your collection, than go after local dealer and try to negotiate, probably, in direct contact, You can made some reduction in price.
Good Luck! -
