Indeed a nice cover and topic as read.
The only problem I see is that due to the lack of space on the front the Argentine PO stuck a barcode lable over part of the cancellation which not so good.
Your write-up was however interesting concerning this topic.

What is really meant by the cancel, is that is 'tied' to the cover as a unit, simliar as stamps are tied to a cover by it's cancellation.
Otherwise you could make your own FDCs by just sticking a FD cancelled miniature sheet on a plain or FDC illustrated envelope.
Sometimes the stamp in a miniature sheet is cancelled to avoid it being used again AND tied to the cover.

The insert shows the miniature sheet fd cancelled AND tied to the Cover.
With regard to miniature sheets.
The stamp or stamps within the sheet should be tied by the cancellation(s) and the sheet itself tied to the cover.
Most commonly the stamps within a miniature sheet are cancelled, the sheet itself not being tied to the cover.
Unusual about just the sheet being cancelled and not the stamp itself, and what a shame that they felt obliged to cover part of the c.d.s. with the bar-code label. Nevertheless an interesting item.

I know that exactly. if there are more stamps in Minisheet, I think less FD cancel you use is better. 
For example by Erich's RSA FDC, if they cancelled it under red circle would be the best. Stamps were cancelled and tied the cover.

That is right Fan.
At that time one could buy the FD envelope and the miniature sheet with the FDC cancellation separately.
So could in fact have made FDC's with FD cancelled miniture sheets AFTER the first day of issue.
This practise was latter stopped and thus tied to the envelope.
The miniature sheets were cancelled as shown in the image, then applied to the illustrated cover and tied with the same FD cancel.
